Family Nature Meet-Up

The Philipstown Garden Club welcomes community families to a Family Nature Meet-Up on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 12:30 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 12:30 p.m.) Families with children ages 4-12 are warmly invited to this free event, which will be led by Garden Club member Jackie Grant, former Director of the Hudson Highlands Nature Center. Families will meet at the Big Woods Trailhead off of Route 301 in Cold Spring and take a half mile walk up across the fields while enjoying a scavenger hunt/bingo game along the way. Following the walk, families can visit the Glynwood Farmstore which is open until 2pm on Saturdays. Registration is required to ensure Bingo games for all children. Register here.​

 

Once registered, families will be sent specific directions to the trailhead. Should the rain date be necessary, registered families will be notified.
