Family Nature Meet-Up

The Philipstown Garden Club welcomes community families to a Family Nature Meet-Up on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.  (Rain date: Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m.)  Families with children ages 4-12 are warmly invited to this free event, which will be led by Garden Club member Jackie Grant, former Director of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum.  Families will meet at the Arden Point Trail trailhead in Garrison and walk a half mile to a view of the Hudson River while enjoying a scavenger hunt/Bingo game along the way.  We will search for trout lilies and other "spring ephermerals", those wildflowers that appear before the leaves are on the trees.  Registration is required to ensure Bingo games for all children.

Once registered, families will be sent specific directions to the trailhead.  Parking is free.  Should the rain date be necessary, registered families will be notified.   If you can't make it, sign up below to be informed about future Meet-Ups.
