“I Love My Park Day”

A fun time was had by all last Saturday at Fahnestock State Park's Hubbard Lodge as we participated in the annual "I Love My Park Day," the last Conservation project for the year. This event is sponsored by Parks & Trails NY in partnership with New York State Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation and Department of Environmental Conservation. A small but enthusiastic PGC Conservation team (Carol McPeek, Pete Salmansohn, Tracey Jordan, Mary Saari) joined with New York State Parks staffers (Brian Rubino, Lauren Martin) to begin to transform a small garden bed into a haven for native pollinators and wildlife.
