PHILIPSTOWN GARDEN CLUB

2021 ANNUAL MEETING

July 18, 2021, Garrison, NY:  PGC’s annual meeting was held under the Boscobel tent – the first in-person event held in over 18 months. We took advantage of the open-air venue and wrapped up the meeting with a casual picnic and much socializing among the attending members.  The agenda was designed to take the membership through the highlights of the past year and how our club rose up in the face of the Covid pandemic.  And we celebrated our successes!  We also announced the launch of a PGC strategic planning initiative to develop a roadmap for the club’s future.  An ad hoc committee will be planning and executing this process over the next 12 months with the participation and input of all the club’s membership.  The goal is to make sure PGC is healthy and vital, our priorities and goals are clear, and our resources are all working towards supporting and reaching those goals.  For your convenience, each Committee report is provided below.

2020 ANNUAL MEETING

July 21, 2020, Garrison, NY: In accordance with our Club By-Laws we have an Annual Meeting at which members are informed about the club’s year-long activities and vote on the election of Board Members.  Due to Covid-19, this year’s meeting will be presented virtually. At the beginning of June, an email went out from the Nominating Committee listing the slate of incoming Board Members with instructions on how members could exercise their vote. Here find video presentations from me and incoming President Carol McPeek detailing club activities and providing information about this year’s Provisional Class. Below that are links to the individual Committees' annual reports. Finally, we invite you to enjoy a quick virtual stroll through the Boscobel Herb Garden as a start to your summer.
